Makeup Trends: Purple Smoky Eyes And Purple Metallic Lips

  

The beauty trends for fall 2017 was my inspiration for creating the purple smoky eyes and metallic purple lips look. This season is all about playing with dark, yet colorful hues. From dark lips, smudged lips, and colorful lids, there are so many ways to play with your makeup looks. I decided to play around and have fun and tried shades of dark, and light purples, and a jewel toned dark metallic lip. Here are the deets for this trendy, romantic, fall 2017 inspired look. 

Eye products:

Eye Shadow: I decided to use one of my favorite Makeup Revolution palettes in Unicorns Unite (read more about the palette here) I absolutely love the Unicorns Unite palette, and the pigmentation is amazing. I decided to use the purple satin shades, (believe, spiritual) mixed with some of the semi-matte teal (fantasy) in the palette. I also applied some of the pink/lavender shade (unicorn) on the center to soften the deep purple shades a bit. For my inner corner I also use the pink/lavender shade in (unicorn) mixed with the light glittery shade in (grace)

The shades I used are marked with a cute lil unicorn below:)

Also Pictured: The limited edition Tarte X Hrush palette. I used the golden peach shade as a transition, and to buff out shadow. I also used the blush portion of the palette on my face for the perfect peachy hue. Feel free to use any of your favorite peachy tan shades and blushes to create a similar look:)

Eyeliner: For liner I used a really cheap one I bought as a set of 12 from a seller on Walmart. The eyeliner brand is called MeNow that's well-known in China. It's an emerald/teal-ish green and I think it looks perfect with purple, and made my brown eyes pop more. 

Mascara: Ulta Beauty's Plush Drama waterproof mascara is what I used for both top and bottom of my lashes. I love this mascara because it adds volume, and makes my lashes darker. 

Since this makeup look has a lot of deep jewel toned shades, and the lips are metallic matte I used three of my favorite illuminating face products for a more dewy, glowing, and even complexion.

3. Highlighter: Makeup Revolution Skin Kiss in Peach Kiss

Lipstick: I love lip products so for this look I knew I wanted to use JCat Beauty Flash Metal Metallic Matte Lip in Sonic Boom. This shade is absolutely gorgeous! It's a rich purple with a metallic finish that is dark yet wearable for daytime. I skipped liner because I can easily line my lips with the doe foot applicator provided. I love it!
