Transform Your Walls With PhotoWall Plus Review

My thoughts/experience

From landscape, textures, and designs made by artists from all over the world, PhotoWall has a wall mural for you. You also have the option to upload your own images and create a unique design.

As a mom of five boys with my youngest ages five and six, my walls are scribbled, and if you haven't scrolled down yet, you will see how bad they are. I'm kind of embarrassed to share this with you, but hey that's just the way it is for me. I wanted to transform my walls for a while, and even considered hiring a professional to paint all the rooms of my house. Unfortunately, the estimates I've received cost thousands of dollars and well, I don't have that kind of money to spend trying to cover all crayon markings, and scribbles. I just accepted the fact that my children are artists, and no matter what measures I take for example, hiding their crayons, markers, etc., they're not going to stop writing on the walls.

So, you can imagine my excitement when PhotoWall reached out to me to review a wall mural. I jumped for joy! I knew immediately which wall I wanted to transform, and that is the wall in my "office/YouTube filming room" The walls in that room are all covered in crayon markings, and drawings of my little ones. For the longest time, all I wanted was a space where I can just focus on filming and not have to worry about sitting in a room with wall markings where the viewer can see it. I want people to focus on what I'm talking about and not get distracted by anything else.

Choosing the wall mural:

Photowall makes choosing a wall mural easy! Their site is super easy to navigate for example, I was looking for a cool brick wall design so I just clicked on categories and it directed me to the page with a full list of designs. The brick wall design was categorized under textures and walls. Moving on, after I chose my design (sprinkled white plaster on red brick wall) I was ready to place my order.

My wall mural was delivered from Sweden quickly, within two days so I was really impressed. Now, we're getting into transforming my wall, and let me tell you it was not hard to do (plus my hubby helped too). With my wall mural came a wallpaper kit with everything you need to easily hang it up.

Inside the kit:

• Wallpaper Brush
• Wallpaper Paste
• Spirit Level
• Seam Roller
• Trim Guide
• Pencil
• Knife
• Brush

Wall paper paste looks pink once mixed, but turns clear when applied and odorless.

The wall mural comes in panels that are numbered at the top in the order they should be hung. The paper is made of really good quality not that thin wallpaper you will find at other places. The wallpaper did not wrinkle while hanging it up, and it was a smooth application for each panel. It took about 2-3 hours since the wall I was transforming is really big, but I have to say it was worth it. After 24 hrs the wall mural held up perfectly  with no tears, or bubbles, and did not peel off (I was afraid of that happening) but PhotoWall makes amazing quality wallpaper and that wallpaper paste in the kit works!

I love my PhotoWall mural! I love how cool it looks, I can even see this particular brick design in a kitchen. My whole family loves it and we all just want to hang out in the office lol. There are still some things I need to add to the room like new furniture, but little by little I will keep updating it. My wall was in desperate need of a transformation and it was so easy to do that with the help of Photowall.
