Finesse Max Keratin is an easy to use 5-minute deep conditioning hair treatment that you can use weekly that helps revitalize hair, for softer, more manageable, healthier hair.
Thoughts/experience:
I was happy to work with Finesse again since I love their shampoo and conditioner read the full review here This time I was able to try out the brand new Finesse Max Keratin Deep Conditioning Treatment. The treatment is a full-sized packet that you can use on a weekly basis. It has a wonderful coconut smell, that's unlike the fresh-scented Finesse shampoo and conditioner I grew up using. The scent is not overpowering which I think is really nice. The texture of the Finesse Keratin Treatment is not too thick, and once applied to wet hair, it absorbs like the Finesse conditioner.
I remember using Keratin treatments before, and each time I had to use gloves because of the chemicals. One of my favorite things about using the Finesse Max Keratin Treatment is that it's made with natural ingredients such as:
- Hydrolyzed Keratin Protein; Re-fortifies and seals hair, revitalizing the look and feel of hair while preventing future damage
- Vitamin E Rich Safflower Oil; Nourishes and protects hair while imparting a healthy shine
- Aloe Vera; Deeply moisturizes and soothes dry, stressed hair
Usage tip from Finesse:
For very dry, dull hair, cover hair with a shower cap and/or leave on a little longer (i.e. up to 10 minutes) for better results.
Not only does the Finesse Max Keratin Deep Conditioning Treatment softens hair, but it also makes it shiny. I love washing my hair then let it air dry. Most of the time I have to use a hair oil serum for extra shine. That wasn't the case after using the treatment. Check out the photo below:
I used my regular shampoo that I purchased from the Dollar Tree, then I used 1 whole packet of the Finesse Keratin Treatment for 5 minutes. I rinsed my hair, then let air dry while I applied my makeup. I brushed it and only used a small amount of dry oil mist and my favorite hairspray that's it. I love my natural waves, so I'm thinking of leaving my hair down more often just because it looks so soft and shiny.
Overall thoughts:
I'm so impressed with the Finesse Keratin Treatment. They are packed with good for your hair ingredients that actually work! They are amazing at softening dry frizzy hair like mine and I highly recommend Finesse Max Keratin Treatment if you have dry damaged hair from heat styling. I also think that they are great to take with you for travel. Especially if you're like me and are enjoying the summer weather and swimming in chlorinated pools, they are perfect for after swimming to help restore your hair.
